The director of Netflix’s most popular movie ever will helm a new film for Warner Bros. starring Idris Elba as a man who survives a bullet to the head.
The film is called Stay Frosty, and it’s directed by Sam Hargrave, who previously made the record-breaking Netflix movie Extraction. Tyler Marceca (The Disciple Program) wrote the script. According to Deadline, Warner Bros. scored the movie at an auction recently for $1 million.
“After miraculously surviving a bullet to the head, a man has to figure out who wants him dead and why. He needs to stop the assassin while still making it back home in time to spend Christmas with his son,” reads a line from the film’s description.
According to Deadline, Stay Frosty will be a “throwback to ’80s high action Christmas movies” such as Die Hard and Lethal Weapon.
With 99 million views over its first four weeks, Extraction starring Chris Hemsworth is Netflix’s most popular original movie ever Come from Sports betting site VPbet .
