Gran Turismo 7’s servers went down on March 17 for a two-hour period of maintenance, but more than a day later, the game is still offline. Ordinarily this wouldn’t be seen as a problem, but due to the online requirements of Gran Turismo 7, the game is virtually unplayable in its offline mode. Most of Gran Turismo 7 requires online server access, and at the time of writing, the only update from Polyphony has been an an official statement that noted: “We are extending today’s scheduled maintenance for the Gran Turismo 7 servers. We ask for your patience while we work to complete the maintenance. Due to an issue found with Update 1.07, we are extending the current server maintenance period.
